RUN-INS

Pitch Her Productions

Run-Ins is a short series about the terrifying occurrence of running into someone you know in public.

New York is the most densely populated city in the country, which means there's a lot of bumping into other people. And sometimes, you know those people. This seven-episode series explores those bumbling encounters that every New Yorker has had to endure. Written by Justine Neubarth and produced by Pitch Her Productions, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting women in film, this bite-sized series looks at all those cringe-worthy moments you'd rather avoid.

In an effort to amplify more female voices, Pitch Her produced Run-Ins as an Episodic Lab, and each episode features a different female director and cinematographer. From debut directors to award-winning directors and DPs, this comedic romp showcases a spectrum of women in film with distinct aesthetics and visions.
